Description

This section of sidewalk is up about 3" from the section next to it. Tripping Hazzard and there are frequently people in wheelchairs that come down this sidewalk.

A. sidewalk

Q. Which side of the road is it on, approx. ft & direction from address/intersection.
A. west side of road, in-between the 2 sets of steps going to the apartment building

The site will be visited and contact will be made with the property owner. We general send a letter to the property owner to inform them of issues that are present. With in the letter we have information about the City's 50/50 sidewalk program, which is a program to help property owners with the costs associated with their sidewalk. I am going to move this ticket time out roughly 1 month, this gives time for inspection, delivery of letter and the property owner a chance to get issue corrected.

A letter is being sent to the property owner about the issue. I am going to extend the ticket out 1 month, gives letter time to arrive and the owner a chance to correct issue.

I have been in contact with the property owner. She is very receptive to the correction needed but she faces some other obstacles and would like those resolved before she replaces this portion of sidewalk. She and I have been in constant contact and I am aiding her in getting the other issues fixed before the sidewalk is replaced. I am going to extend the ticket completion time out 3 months. We both hope the issue is fixed before then so the sidewalk can be replaced.

Still in contact with the property owner about this issue. Once there is proof that the other underlying issues are resolved then we will get the sidewalk can be addressed.

We are still working on the underlying issue that has caused the sidewalk failure. Once that is taken care of the property owner is more than willing to fix their sidewalk. Extending the ticket out 30 days.
