  After looking at the picture provided and also inspecting the location, this is a common occurrence of contractors using excessive salt on a concrete sidewalk and also operating a machine with a plow that is wider than the 4-foot sidewalk. The tire tracks on the grass buffer are easily visible and the cracks on the sidewalk are located on the joints-another indication of excessive salt.
