The front of my home and my neighbors does not have a recognizable sidewalk. It simply flows into the street. Often cars, trucks and eighteen wheelers will park in front of our houses to take a cellphone call, etc. My concern is that this location is very close to two area elementary schools (Nash and Baptist), has schrubs and at a major bus stop for all ages/schools throughout Weymouth. The lack of sidewalk creates a hazard for children that are coming and go from the bus stop, and I fear that someone will get hit or killed. My town counselor stopped by to view it, and agreed with me that it is a hazard. I have written both Mayor Madden and Kay, but the town has taken no action.
