Reply they put shields on street lights? Seems counterintuitive to defuse the light so it no longer shines down to illuminate the area.

I happened to see others commenting in another forum about the new lights. They said to put this on ClickFix and they would fix it by putting some type of shield or something on it. They, and a few others, said the same thing. Regular light didn't bother us but this monster of brightness is just too much. Shines right in the bedroom and I have light blocking blinds too.

It looks as though they have found bigger shields that can go around the fixture so the lighting doesn’t go as far out.
