Description
Huge boat is back again as of Saturday, Dec 27, 2014 since 10 am & still there at 8pm. Much longer than 4 hour limit! Boat parked one-half in the road blocking traffic & one-half on grass in their front yard. See photo for proof. Really tired of dodging traffic while walking past this house with my 2 dogs. Please get out here soon, the more tickets you write, the more the city has to hire the code compliance employees you need.

Different boat? Perhaps there is a storage scam happening in plain site just to avoid dock fees by switching off boat parking between peoples houses.

Sec. 26-150. - Limitations on parking in residential areas—Domestic equipment.
No person shall park, allow to be parked, place, allow to be placed, store, or allow to be stored domestic equipment, as defined in chapter 16, within the right-of-way adjacent to either a residential use or a property in a residential district as defined in chapter 16. Except that domestic equipment may be parked, placed or stored on legally recognized parking areas with an approved surface for no more than four consecutive hours from 8:00 a.m. on Monday through 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, and anytime from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday until 8:00 a.m. on the following Monday. Each item of domestic equipment in violation of this section is a separate violation. This section does not apply to parking, placing, or storing domestic equipment on private property.
This code was written for boat owners to be allowed to clean their equip. This homeowner is a scofflaw & neighbors are tired of feeling like they live in a slum or industrial area. This is a residential neighborhood. If this city is low on funds to support city codes, time to start writing tickets that cost money! Deputize someone from the neighborhood to write tickets. (Not me, pls) Most citizens would agree that if you want to do whatever you want - move out of city limits. Society only works if it operates within an agreed upon set of rules.

Maybe this will help - boat parked 1/2 in grass or "tree line" when they have a driveway.
Sec. 26-134. - Parking in or on tree line.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, ... in or on a tree line, which for this purpose shall be defined to mean that space between the property line and the curb or street or pavement edge, when any of the following conditions exist:
(6) Should the parked vehicle not be located wholly on a legally recognized parking area with an approved parking surface or on an approved and maintained permeable parking area (see chapter 16, parking enforcement).
