Our neighborhood would like a stop sign on Northbound Pomona Rd at the Mixtwood Intersection next to Pomona Mixtwood Park. Cars drive fast with lots of kids and a somewhat blind corner.

I’d be happy with a 3-way stop at this intersection. I agree that there’s too much fast driving through this neighborhood.

I live in the neighborhood and do not want a stop sign here, nor think it is necessary. It is actually quite a wide intersection with good visibility and a crosswalk on Pomona before Mixtwood.

I live three houses down from the Pomona-Mixtwood park. I agree that the intersection is quite wide, which encourages drivers to speed. Encouraging cars to speed on a corner with a playground is unsafe. Road narrowing and a raised walk would slow drivers down.

Agree. A marked crosswalk running north/south would be a lovely addition. Whoever put the flags up, like the Wines PTO installed at Newport, thank you.

That stretch of Pomona is a hill and a stop sign was tried previously. In the winter with snow on the road, it'll make it difficult to start up after stopping for the stop sign.
