The biggest time issue when the illegal parking happens is usually during the overnight hours and more on the Fri-Sat-Sun nights. But with bad weather coming, they have started to learn not to park there because the plow will either plow them in or not plow the street at all. Last 2 weekends overnight, there was a large white chevy suburban parked right on top on the sign. And the sign is legible. My only issue is if I call or text the number given 203-238-1911, what is the response time? If you can accept texting. then I can also email you the picture when they are violating if you wish.

The Watch Commanders have been advised to have their officers check on this issue regularly. At the present time, we do not have the capacity to accept text tips and the best way to ensure the complaint is received is to call (203) 238-1911. The response times for all complaints are generally very good; however, like all emergency services we do prioritize calls based on the nature of the call. Emergency calls will always take precedence but we take all complaints seriously and investigate every one. We have been addressing this problem since you first reported it but we will never be able to catch every violator every time without help from the community when there are violations.
