A. Not Needed - Traffic Markings.
Q. Why is this a concern?
A. When the work was going on on the southwest freeway, they installed a westbound lane in rush-hour on Alabama out of the left turn lane. Now, however, there is twice the demand eastbound in the evenings on Alabama then westbound. The reversible lane direction should be changed to eastbound rather than westbound in the afternoons to reduce the backup of traffic eastbound on Alabama, which stretches from Montrose to Sunset at times.
