Description

Contractor failed to properly repair the sidewalk following the installation of under sidewalk fiber optic line. Temporary asphalt patch material was simply placed over hole and not compacted. Loose gravel sticks to shoes and sneakers and can be tracked into residence. This is an improper use of this material. Other holes were not filled but many cracks are radiating onto adjacent concrete sidewalk slabs and should all be replaced ASAP. it is unacceptable to have this work not completed in a timely manner.
This is typical of the sidewalk and stretches from 53rd street to 56th street on the east side sidewalk.
