A service request about the mosquito problem in your area has been entered into our system; our technician should be there within one working day depending on their work load. They will inspect the property and surrounding neighborhood to determine the source of the problem and will take the necessary action to correct the problem; whenever possible we try to target mosquitoes in the aquatic juvenile stage to control them at the source.

If we cannot get into the property due to locked gates, then please check for anything that may be holding rainwater as mosquitoes will breed in containers as small as a bottle cap. We’ll be checking the area surrounding the property for anything that may be contributing to the problem, and will take the necessary steps to eliminate or treat the source.

If you are at the property when the technician arrives, please take the opportunity to talk to them about your concerns. If you are not at the property when they arrive, a card will be left providing you with detailed information on our handling of your request.

Is Pinellas County going to do ANYTHING about the mosquito problem we have for those of us who are bitten more often than others now that MALARIA is heading our way? According to National Institute of Health, there really are some of us who are mosquito magnets due to some bacteria in our sweat. Thus, people like me will be more likely to get malaria when it hits this area. We are SURROUNDED by ponds of all sorts which makes it virtually impossible for any of us to eliminate the mosquitoes attacking us non-stop. I can't live my entire life in a can of Deep Woods Off. that isn't very healthy, either. Why can't something be done for the county to reduce mosquitoes all over our county?
