Description
It's disappointing that after the project to replace the bridge and repave the road was "completed" that all the subsequent corrections have left the road bumpy and full of patches which is essentially the same way the road was before the project started. Whomever was contracted to do it did a poor job in making sure it was done right the first time. For example- the drains that were put in were not put in the lowest part of the road which necessitated a redo of the drains. How could that happen? One need only roll a tennis ball down the road to find its lowest point. A county supervisor should examine what was done.
Please repave Stephan's road in its entirety so that it everything is uniform and even just like it was before all the corrections were made.
Thank you for your consideration into this matter.

Thank you for contacting the Bureau of Highways. This was forwarded to the Office of Transportation and Special Projects along with the Construction Inspection Division who handling this project. Per the Construction Inspection Division
BGE is having the contractor go in today and perform testing on the stone base. This is to verify compaction and address and wet areas before paving.
The area that was paved, is only base paving and to make the temporary patch acceptable.
Once testing is complete today and any repairs are complete. BGE will then base and surface pave.
If you have any further concerns or questions please contact Bryan Kirk in the Construction Inspection Division at 410-313-1899
