Description
Casella’s trash truck did its route before 6AM today in the Birchcliff neighborhood and woke everyone up. It’s very loud, and it’s not clear why that has to happen so early. Yesterday the Casella compost truck came before 6. Is there an ordinance or anything that prevents pickups from happening so early in residential areas? All the other trash companies do their pickups during daytime hours.

The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
I have contacted Casella about both instances and told them to correct this issue with their drivers.

I contacted Casella about this issue on 8/10/2023, to speak to their driver and reiterate that pickup cannot happen before 7am.
