I live a few houses away from this location. The homeowner has not been seen by any of us for several months. I know that the county health department had to obtain a search warrant to gain legal authority to access his backyard to treat the green pool. I think that the police department should try to make contact with the homeowner. I am worried that something has happened to him or he moved out of state.

Thanks for reporting this issue to Gilbert 311! Maricopa County Vector Control reported back to us that the pool has been treated with both larvacide and fish. This won't improve the appearance, but will prevent mosquitos.
We will forward this report to Public Safety regarding your concern about the homeowner.
