This is very true and a big problem. I’ve almost been rear ended a few times just trying to pull into my drive way because people speeding around the corner.

We try to monitor it as much as we can and will try to do some more radar on the street.

We are really in need of very frequent monitoring. Within the last 10 mins I just watched several cars go down the road at terrifying speeds. Now kids are walking to and from the bus stop with cars flying past them.

MPD continues to monitor this area. Traffic units will continue to do selective enforcement.

Is there any way to get them to monitor at specific times? It really gets worse at commuting, specifically in the afternoon. How do we go about getting sidewalks? What steps can we take to work towards this?

Yes it is definitely worse during commuting hours, morning and afternoon. People use the street as a cut thru to avoid the lights on Broadway.
