Sidewalk is full of overgrown plants and debris; very hazardous for children, joggers, strollers, wagons, etc. and this sidewalk is used to commute to the nearby elementary school.

Q. Under the Seaside Municipal Code and California Streets and Highways Code Section 5610, 5611, and 5612, property owners are responsible for maintaining the sidewalk in front of their property. Any construction in a sidewalk requires an encroachment permit available through the Public Works Department. All work done must be completed by a licensed concrete contractor (Class C-8) or an engineering contractor (Class A).
