Your request for additional amenities was forwarded to Facilities Management and Development. Our facilities team will inspect and review the need to install or repair any additional amenities, such as BBQ Grills, tables, benches, trash cans and upgraded lighting. Unfortunately, requests such as a Jungle Gym, Splash Pad, Dog Park, Restrooms and New Lighting is considered a Capital Improvement Project request (CIP). At this time, all CIP requests have been scheduled through FY 2027. Should funding become available in the future, your request will be considered along with all other Capital needs within the park system.
The Department of Neighborhoods works on scheduling CIP meetings with each of the Council Districts. We encourage you to attend the CIP meetings and make your requests known. Link for CIP is included: http://www.houstontx.gov/cip/
