Ved Parkash is a well-known NY SLUMLORD who purposely does not maintain his buildings so tenants can move out via "constructive eviction" whereupon once you move he has the legal right to raise the rent on the apartments much higher than allowed when you renew your lease. He wants NEW TENANT leases signed and this is his only purpose in life to live off other''s miseries. The only thing he understands is you calling HPD (Call 311) for apartment inspections and the violations that follow and/or filing a Housing Court complaint with documents (CERTIFIED complaint letters to him, HPD history) where you can request a rent "Abatement" (partial refunds) off your rents for evey month going back that he fails to service your apartment/building. Works for me!

we had a leak in our bathroom 8 weeks ago- the sheet rock was falling and we called the city- inspectors came and issued 2 violations- 3 days ago men came and ripped out the sheet rock exposing mold and mildew and we are still waiting for them to come and replace the entire roof of our bathroom. The city does not help- the landlord does not care. Ved parkash is a heartless man.

There is a lot of hanging out and marijuana smoking on my floor and especially by my door.. I recently had a newborn and the smell of the smoke is traveling into my apt... Im so furious and have called the police numerous of times and as well as the landlord... But they ignore the situation... I dont know what else to do... Can ne one give suggestions. VED PARKASH and his sons are ruthless heartless human beings.My roommate left with the rent money and he is trying to evict me and my son who are both mentally disabled and I'm 6 weeks pregnant dealing with a bathroom leak for more than 6 months now.I've mold and cracks on my bathroom walls and though we tried to speak to his son he completely ignored me..I am a victim of Bernardita Diez she rented to me and I HAVE ALL my reciepts but MR Parkash wants me and my mentally disabled son to spend our holidays in the streets. Mr Parkash just bought the building and according to him everyone owes him rent. I'm not going to verbally bash this man because I am a woman who still believes that whatever harm you do unto others,karma will deliver it ten folds..When you have lawyers as sons and you think you can abuse of the less fortunate.God will take away your most priced posession, bring you to your knees and stab humility in you heart ..When you die you cant put buildings in a casket but your deeds will be awaiting for you or your family. HPD records show that tenants in your building filed complaints of no heat for most of the month of November. We have called the Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr's office on your behalf. The elevator at 2842 Grand Concourse hasbeen out of service for over two weeks, I am a person with a disability and i have a 3week old baby and I live on the sixth floor. I was told the that parts are on back order from Japan and that there is nothing they can do. Also the noise and weed smoking in my building is horrible.

The building at 58 East 190th St. Has no heat I don't know about the day not there, but the evenings get cold. Have tried calling numerous times to no avail. They set up an email and no good no response...what else can you do against a SLUMLORD!

This landlord just brought my building in December 2016. He give tenants a ten days notices for one month rent. Also, one of my neighbor passaway,and this bum sent his people to her apartment with no regards for the family. Police tape this apartment off limited, and he still wanted to send his people in. He also send out eviction notice to tenants and send new tenants to look at the apartment with the present tenants still in the apartment. I will be taken him to courthouse.

I have already sent 2 emails to the landlord regarding a minor repair and he has yet to respond.

Take picture of what need to be repair. Also did you call the city inspection . You can file with housing courts. But do mot stop paying the rent , print out what you email to him, so he can not said that he did mot get it. Also send one by mail.
