There are multiple people living in this house. I've also reported trash and debris all over their backyard blowing everywhere previously. There are too many people living in this house for 1 small trash barrel, so it doesn't surprise me that they are distributing their trash into other people's barrels instead of purchasing their own green bags. On any given day there is trash blowing around in their backyard. I have never seen rats before, but have seen them most recently about one month ago. This is a huge concern of mine.

It's not an "accomplishment" because there has NOT BEEN one word from the city OR Ordinance Officer 2. There appears to be THREE big problems here -- 1) more people living there than allowed, the trash everywhere, and RATS. SOMEone needs to fix this situation for the sake of the whole neighborhood. Seven months without a peep from the city is UNJUST!!

I just witnessed someone at this house come to the edge of the property line, which abuts my property, urinate facing me while I'm sitting in my back yard enjoying the beautiful weather.
I'm not sure what is going on here, but since when do we urinate out in public in broad daylight?! This was a grown man.

He could have been arrested, I think it's called lascivious behavior. You can't do that in public. But not if they don't see it. I feel SO bad for and your neighbors who have been pleading for help for far too long. I don't know how you continue to live with it. And with no help YET from the city since last September when it was posted. I could cry for you guys.

Whatever is going on in that house is problematic in a number of ways. I think I’ll make a trip to city hall at my earliest opportunity and see if anything at all can be done. None of this is acceptable.

Good luck. I have also been to City Hall to have a chat with our elective officials but not much came out of it. I would still advise you to go. You will probably have to make an appointment. Bring anything that can help your case, pictures, time(s) and date(s) of public urination, etc. What would be better (although not probable) is for them to see the junkyard with their own eyes.

We plan to go down to city hall next week and speak to someone at the Board of Health. I attended a Neighborhood Watch meeting last evening. It was my first time going, they meet 4 times a year. Shirley Asack and a police officer that does detail for Stop n Shop were in attendence. Most of the residents in attendance were from opposite side of north main St, but if anyone is interested, the next meeting is in July.
