The erosion on the edge of the road near 7 Oaks Recreation Center was not repaired as of 4/12/15. More erosion has taken place. It is a very dangerous situation.
My girlfriend just got a flat and a bent rim because of this pothole. When traffic is coming the other direction there is no room to move over to avoid it. After I changed her flat, we saw another woman pulled over with a blown out tire.
I was given a number by 5 On Your Side (919-996-6446) and reported the pothole/erosion. WRAL said their policy is to have it repaired within 24 hours. We'll see.
I quickly received a call back from the City of Raleigh and apparently the state is responsible for maintaining this road. I spoke with someone at this number (919-733-2191) and she promised to give the report to her supervisor. They don't have the same 24 hour policy as the city.
I heard back from WRAL. They're out shooting video of the hole and interviewing a local resident. Also was told that the D.O.T. is out repairing it now.

I drove by the pothole one hour ago. It is the most dangerous situation I have seen in years.
I can not understand why it is taking more than a month to repair.
