Has anyone noticed how many people are just darting out into traffic without paying attention to traffic and are not being in crosswalks while crossing the streets ? It seems to have gotten really bad no matter where you drive. How can the public be taught to cross streets safely? Many fatal or near fatal accidents in and around Boston...Is it going to happen here? We all must be on alert to this growing danger. Concerned Pam

All drivers should be aware of people crossing streets. Most do not look both ways before crossing. I guess that isn't taught anymore. Concerned Pam

School is back in session , sunlight is in your eyes, and it is getti ng darker earlier; all the ingredients for a horrible accident when pedestrians do not cross streets properly. Nothing has changed and everyone must be fully aware of those crossing streets. Concerned Pam

With the fatal pedestrian accidents that have occured over the last few weeks in Worcester, I guess you can say that this issue has not been corrected. I have personally seen people just dashing out into traffic, never looking either way and expecting all vehicles to stop on a dime for them. Unbelievable !!!! Concerned Pam

I guess we're all going to have to be on watch at all times for people who just walk out into traffic. This, i feel, will not change. The old-school way of looking both ways before you cross is way out of the window nowadays. I'll close this issue but I'll keep looking out for the dim-brains who do not know how to cross a street !!! Concerned Pam
