Who is supposed to maintain Street?

The property owner is responsible for maintaining the grass and vegetation in the right of way including any edging and prevent vegetation from growing over the curb
We noted multiple areas along the street where vegetation in growing through the brick street
We will fwd to the department to determine if any action is necessary at this time

Thank you for reporting this to us. To echo my colleague, the City's Municipal Code places responsibility for the right of way in front of any private residence to be the responsibility of that owner. While we don't expect residents to make repairs to sidewalks, curbing, or road surfaces, we do expect them to properly maintain the vegetation in their yard, in the park strip (the area between the sidewalk and the road) and ensure it doesn't encroach on the sidewalk or roadway, and doesn't present a hazard to motorists or pedestrians. We will take no action; please refer this issue to Code Compliance and Assistance.
