It is getting ridiculous. Are we on year 3 or 4 of this project that seems to have made little progress outside of cutting down hundreds-thousands of trees years ago?

You did not read my note. The manager of the DOT said they cannot do any work until the utility company finishes their work. Hence, we need the city to put pressure on utility company to move forward in this section of Alpharetta now!

Please forward this to the mayor and city council so they can apply appropriate pressure.

This is a GDOT project, in GDOT right of way! How does it make any sense for the city to be responsible for pushing these utility companies? Please help myself and everyone else reading this understand because it makes zero sense.

The city has worked extensively with the teams (DOT/Utility) in planning this project. I know because I attended city held meetings where Kathy and others presented. We, the city, has contacts. The way things work in this world is you call your contacts, ask for updates, request faster response and completion, keep your hand on the Paula’s and continue to push through completion. That is how the city has the power to wake up the DOT and utility groups. Use your contacts to make them feel your frustration in the current work stoppage on this section of road.

Keep the pressure on. Again, the city is our voice and they need to keep the project moving via constant contact and meetings!
