Description
Is there anyway that lights can be put on the stop signs? People are running the stop signs at this intersection and at 170th and 40th. We have almost gotten hit several times taking our grandkids to school. It's especially bad when it's foggy.

Thank you for making us aware of this. We've already had several complaints about wreckless drivers at this location and that have been forwarded to our police department. At the moment, I'm not convinced that LED stop signs are appropriate here. Especially since the site distances at this intersection are pretty good compared to other problem intersections we have throughout the City.
That being said, we can look at upgrading the light fixture here to increase lumination of this intersection. This should help under foggier conditions. We can also look at positioning the stop signs differently to make them more visible in all directions.
