Please tell me there are plans to repave Pontiac Trail from Old Orchard Trail to Haggerty. The worst is between Halsted and Green Lake Road but it is overall a mess. Pontiac Trail carries all those heavy trucks which has destroyed the pavement. Walnut Lake Road was repaved and was not nearly in the sorry condition Pontiac Trail is in. Throwing cold patch is a joke...

There has been some work on Pontiac Trail but the success of the techniques used remain to be seen as winter commences. What is the longer term strategy for Pontiac Trail? It seems like every road around Pontiac Trail has or is being paved but I can't believe any of them carry more traffic and heavy trucks than Pontiac Trail. So what is the plan?

Patchwork is just that. A PATCH. REPAVE THE ROAD OAKLAND COUNTY! This is a main artery through West Bloomfield. It shouldn't look like a side street in Detroit.....

Oakland County, this was opened in 2015 and goes back to 2012. Pontiac Trail is still a major debacle even though every other east west road within several miles has been repaved or rebuilt. What gives? Most of them don't have nearly the traffic Pontiac Trail has. This is just plain poor planning to the point of negligence. That road now resembles something out of the Middle East after several bombing runs. When is it going to be fixed?

I got a reply from the Oakland County Road Commission. They do not have any money appropriated for Pontiac Trail until 2020..... Yeah. Because a road that is already I pieces is going to last another two years.... I urge those who live in this area to start calling West Bloomfield Township Office and the Oakland County Road Commission and complaining on a daily basis. I have been. It is utterly disgraceful to live in such a nice community where the roads are absolute garbage.
