Description
Electrical in kitchen will cut out without any provocation from me, that is I will not be using an appliance, will go to use one and find out that half of my kitchen does not have power. When I go to the basement to try to flip the breaker it does not come back on. This is not an issue and all times. It will work usually, then out of nowhere it will be off and I am unable to get it to come back on. It seems that something outside of my apartment may be overloading the circuit but I cannot say for sure.

Hello. I am not commenting in a professional manner, but I recently had a similar problem at my house in a neighboring city. Only half of the outlets in my home worked. It turned out to be a problem with one of the "legs" that come to the house. I recommend contacting HG&E.
Now, as an employee of the city with zero electrical knowledge or expertise, I will pass this on to the electrical inspector who may advise differently. Please call us as soon as possible so we can contact you if necessary.
