Description
There is no stop sign at this intersection and it would be much safer if there was one. It does have a pedestrian crossing sign; however, pedestrians often do not press the button to cross and the lights on the signs will not flash. Since it is also a T intersection, during the afternoon, it is hard to see if pedestrians (or students, since the intersection is next to a school) are crossing since the sun is too bright and it blinds drivers, increasing the probability of a crash or running over a pedestrian. Instead of having a pedestrian crossing sign, a 3-way stop sign would be much more appropriate and safer for this specific intersection.
