Description

Several months ago the city, county or someone cut a deeper ditch at the corner of Dellwood Road and Edgehill. The cut was made close to the roadbed and drivers turning onto Dellwood from Edgehill (if they accidently cut the corner) could end up in the ditch. For some reason the Public Works closed the call basically saying "not my problem, contact the traffic engineering group", so they may need to become involved. The "folks" as Public Works said they only address existing infrastructure in my earlier contact with SCF and given it was probably them who did the work in the beginning perhaps they are our own worst enemy. The problem is: the turn east onto Dellwood from Edgehill is narrow at best if a car is at the intersection already. If someone cuts the turn onto Dellwood too close, they will end up in the ditch. Also, at the same intersection (west side) is a culvert that vehicles have dropped off into several times already given the marks plainly visible on the pavement. Can you get with someone who will actually run these issues to ground without closing them pointing to someone else at the City who we should contact? Thanks for your help.
