The recently merged government of Macon-Bibb County, Georgia, has selected New World Systems to replace an aging, fragmented public safety system. As of January 1, 2014, Macon Police Officers officially became Bibb County Sheriff's Deputies, and the City and County Public Safety agencies merged. To accommodate their expanding information needs and better serve the public, Macon-Bibb County signed a contract to license New World's suite of Aegis™ Public Safety Software.

"We need to have one cohesive system that will follow a call from creation at the 911 Center through to the arrest and incarceration of a suspect as efficiently as possible, without missing a step," said Bibb County Sheriff David Davis. "In addition to offering flexible and integrated software, New World is a company that understands our unique situation and will support us as two public safety agencies become one."

New World is providing Macon-Bibb County with integrated Aegis Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law Enforcement Records Management, Fire Records Management, Mobile Computing for both Police and Fire, Corrections Management, and Decision Support software. Built on the latest Microsoft technology, the software offers a seamless flow of information between applications that will tie information together for the agency's departments.

The single software suite will make the entire agency more efficient and offer more robust property and evidence management tools.

New World's reporting capabilities and Decision Support and Dashboards solution will help the Sheriff's Department, 911 Center and Jail easily retrieve information to evaluate operations and perform response time and crime analysis. "There could be connections between police and fire or between individuals and stolen property, and we'll be able to recognize them right away with New World's suite of software."

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS SOFTWARE HAS TO DO WITH BURNED HOUSES THAT HAS BEEN ON THE BLIGHT LIST OR NP LIST FOR YEARS. I NEED THE INSPECTOR TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME TO GO OVER THIS SYSTEM AND SHOW ME WHERE THESE DELAPIDATED PROPERTIES ARE IN THIS SOFTWARE.
