Code Enforcement was in the process of getting the vehicle removed when the owner contacted the City regarding the vehicle. Upon further investigation, CE found that the vehicle is operable but the owner lost the keys and the title in the house fire that occurred on the property. This new information brings into question whether the vehicle is a violation at all. Regardless, the owner has agreed to have the vehicle removed by the end of February. CE will follow up at this time. Please call Code Enforcement at 205-739-6851 for more information.
