The sidewalks, alcoves, curbs, sewer inlets, gutters, and empty lots on the west side of 2nd Street in Northern Liberties are choked with trash and litter. A disgrace to a neighborhood that is supposed to be so upscale.

this issue needs to be highlighted on thursday evening at the NLNA General meeting with Councilman Squila in attendence. There should be more trash cans and elimination of periodical vending machines.

Also, the businesses on these blocks need to be made aware of their obligation to keep their areas clean and free of litter.
