Description

This intersection has very limited sight distances from both directions and as such is quite dangerous. Stop or yield signs would help slow traffic from one or both directions.

I've seen south-bound traffic on River St. go straight into the parking lot just south of this intersection at high speed. East-bound traffic on Water's Edge making the turn to head north on River St. has no way of seeing that south-bound traffic until it's too late. I've almost had collisions on my bike at this point going quite slow compared to motor vehicles; 2 cars or some combination of motor vehicle and bike going thru this intersection at posted speeds could be fatal for someone.
