Description
Traffic Light Excessively Long for this time of night, 2:30 am, Light goes Red for Roosevelt Blvd for no reason, no traffic on 62nd, then crosswalk timer counts down the 45-50 crosswalk timer, No car or pedestrian traffic warranting this behavior, can timing be changed for late night travel to not be so long
Thank You

Problem still exsists, nothing seems to be done about it, Not sure why this intersection has to operate this way at 2-3 am. This waste's gasoline to stop for a light that has no traffic waiting to cross or the 45-60 seconds while crosswalk counter counts down for the pedestrians awaiting to cross this road at 3am, Yes i am being a bit sarcastic as this is a useless function at this time of day.
If someone from DOT actually had to sit there almost daily when they were returning from work, i am sure it would be looked at.
Thank you Pinellas County for forwarding this issue, I just wish you had the jurisdiction to fix it as i am certain you would.
I am re-opening this but you may close it again if DOT is not going to look into it
Thank you

Steve, Thank you for looking into this, it may have been fixed last weekend and I did not notice it, I will check this weekend when I am coming home from work, I work Thurs-Fri-Sat Nights, so i do appologise if it was repaired and i re-opened it for nothing

I am usually travelling eastbound returning home from the business that i own. It does not bother me so much of having to stop as it is waiting for the crosswalk timer to count down, I am not sure where it starts but have see it start in the 45-50 second range, which seems like a long time for no pedestrians on the road at that time of the morning.
Thank you again Steve, I appreciate it

A technician was dispatched again yesterday and found an Ant problem behind one of the pedestrian push buttons that was causing a problem.
