City of Oakland Public Works Agency addressed this issue on 03/26/2012, service request # 398437.

The light in front of 1509 Hampel Street is still not on all the time at night. It may be an "energy saver" light that goes on and off but with the crime rate as it is, this light needs to be on at night. If the problem has been addressed, I would like someone to respond to me. Thank you.

The light at 1509 Hampel street is not on continuously during the night. It is pitch dark in front of my house and my neighbors house for much of the time during the evening. If the problem has been addressed, as stated on the SeeClickFix website, please tell me how the situation has been remedied. I see no change. Thank you. Joy Carlson

Thank you for your request. According to our record, our electrician repaired the light with pole # 58133 at 1509 Hampel St on 3/22/2012. If this is not the right light, could you provide us the correct light pole number? The light pole number should be on a tag on the body of the light pole, facing the street at eye level. Please contact us to clarify.
