Description
The sensor that detects cars on Beaver Lake Road who wish to turn left onto Duthie Hill Road is not working when it is dark outside. I'm not sure if the sensor is underneath the road surface or if it's a camera system, but at nighttime there can be 20-30 cars backed up just waiting for the light to turn green so they can make the left turn onto Duthie Hill. It's become a safety issue as I've seen numerous impatient drivers on Beaver Lake Road come up the *right* lane and then try to turn left onto Duthie Hill Road on a red light and I have nearly witnessed collisions from this behavior which is quite scary as Duthie Hill has a 45 MPH limit which means drivers are moving quickly and not expecting somebody to run a red light to turn in front of them.

A. The stoplight is at the intersection of Duthie Hill Road and Beaver Lake Road. The problem is when approaching the intersection facing east and wishing to turn left onto Duthie Hill Road. The attached photo is a visual example.
