There needs to be a bike lane on North Military Highway. I ride my bike almost everyday down Military Highway to Virginia Beach Boulevard and there needs to be a bike lane with the amount of traffic that Military Highway has. It is dangerous for bikers and I see other bikers get frustrated with the neglect that this street has for bikers. So many bikers use Military Highway to get to work on a daily basis. The shoulder that many ride on is also poorly kept with potholes, rock piles, and uneven pavement. There is plenty of room on either side of Military Highway for a bike lane in both directions. I would love to see the city do something about this issue so I can feel safe as well as many others traveling down Military Highway.
