Since installation of new lights at intersection MEch Tpk & Cool La/Whitcomb St the traffic crossing Mech Tpk competes. You sit through 4 cycles to turn left from Whitcomb St. Each side used to get a turn. People are running the light and cutting through the gas station to avoid it.
