We recently purchased this property (35 Carnahan Pl) OCT2023 and have encountered a sewer issue. Water from our neighbor's side (29 Carnahan Pl) is not draining properly, resulting in significant water accumulation. Attached is a photograph illustrating the issue. This water has also started to spill into my backyard.

I have discussed the matter with my neighbor, and we are both keen to find a resolution, especially since the water gradually flows from his driveway to the road. My neighbor informed me that this drainage problem has persisted since the home was demolished and rebuilt in 2015.

My neighbor has stayed here 30+ years, and he knows who the original builder is. We wanted to check if that the builder can provide a remedy, especially if the current drainage setup does not follow local codes.
