2nd and 3rd floor. I'm usually near the sitting area near the staircase but also when I'm inside the book area I can hear the children and adults talking loudly and screaming. its very distracting. I understand the noise at the ground floor but shouldn't there be an accepted noise level on the upper levels even if they are activity rooms

Thank you for the additional information. We do understand the lobbies of the building can be noisy places. We will ask staff to monitor and address noise levels in the lobbies. We are especially vigilant about noise levels in the third floor Adult Library, which should be a much quieter place for study and concentration. Please let staff know if you hear noise, especially in the third floor library.
