This is at 89 Greenwood street. the bins are marked apt.2

I'm appalled at what the city thinks is a good solution to this problem. I watched a city truck push both carts into the driveway at 89 Greenwood Street. First of all they were pushed into the parking spaces of Apt # 1 who are not responsible for Apt # 2 carts. Second, how is this going to make the Apt# 2 tenant or the landlord fix the issue of leaving them out. Why should this burden now be placed on the tenants of Apt# 1 - They actually take care of their trash. I'm disgusted if this is your solution.

who's responsible for moving the carts so Apt # 1 can park in their space? I'm just saying....nice solution. I won't bother posting that issue... you'll probably solve it in a similar manner

I'm appalled by this "FIX" the city has done! Now, you need to go back to this house and move the trash barrels out of the driveway for Apt #1. Is this the way you fix things??

Good morning: As this is an issue between the two apartments I will notify the owner to let him know that he needs to advise both tenants to insure that their carts are promptly taken in to the correct location. Thank you for bringing this to our attention

We're sorry that you're having this issue with the trash bins. Unfortunately, this is an issue that the City of Marlborough has no jurisdiction over. This is a neighbor-to-neighbor issue as stated by our Code Enforcement Officer. A letter was sent to the landlord by the city informing him/her of the issue. That is the most we can do for an issue on private property. If the bins were obstructing the public way, we would have more latitude. I am closing this issue now and I hope our letter to the landlord will help the issue. If not, we certainly encourage neighbors to have friendly dialogue with one another and find common ground to solve their differences.
