Description
We recently moved into our house at 3321 Sawyer Drive and are requesting repair of an item that came up on our inspection report. The alley corner behind our house is completely deteriorated and damaged due to the garbage truck repeatedly running over the edge of the pavement. As the pavement has deteriorated, it appears as though the garbage truck has since maneuvered the area by driving in the edge of our yard. This has damaged our yard and cut our underground sprinkler system line. We would like to request repair of the road, our yard, and the sprinkler line. If possible, we would also request a concrete or other type of edge barrier to prevent this from occurring again.

I have also called Amwaste 3 times, and each time been told that the issue has been submitted to the “safety department” and that someone would contact me very quickly. On the third call, I also requested to be transferred to a supervisor or transferred directly to the safety department to which I was told that is not possible, this email submission that the call center does to the safety department is the only recourse they have.
What is it going to take for someone at Amwaste to accept responsibility for this issue and contact me regarding a resolution? My HOA has now delivered me a warning that I will be issued a fine if this is not fixed. They were understanding when I explained to them the runaround that I have been getting from Amwaste, but I can’t imagine I’ll be allowed to leave this problem unaddressed for much longer.
