River and Sabino Canyon intersection, southbound.
Halfway through the intersection, on the path of drivers side wheels, there is a drain cover which is below the road surface, with an asphalt edge higher than the road surface leading up to it. This causes many cars to move to the far inside or outside of the lane to avoid it while crossing the intersection.

Thank you for your request. After inspection of the area, found the water valves in the intersection on the southbound inside lane of N Sabino Canyon Rd are sunken approx. 2" from the roadway surface and need to be adjusted to grade, refer to Tucson Water for their consideration. I forwarded the concern to TW_Dispatch@tucsonaz.gov
