Description
1) Signal light is way too short turning from Stone Brook onto Old Hickory.
2) Even though Stone Brook has light and right of way, vehicles turn west onto OHB from Franklin Pike and cut off traffic.
3) Vehicles running red lights on OHB at 50 to 60 mph. They are coming down hill and if you don't double check before turning onto OHB you ARE SERIOUSLY taking your life into your own hands.
4) Since new OHB entrance ramp work it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get from Stone Brook to Franklin Rd (1/8th of a mile) on the other side of the interstate during morning commute.

1) Signal light is way too short turning from Stone Brook onto Old Hickory. - Still an issue. A little more than 10 seconds to get through the light will suffice.
2) Even though Stone Brook has light and right of way, vehicles turn west onto OHB from Franklin Pike and cut off traffic. - Still a big issue. Since the Franklin Pike light is red, they think they have the right of way to turn right. They don't know that the people on Stone Brook have a green light to turn in the same direction.
3) Vehicles running red lights on OHB at 50 to 60 mph. They are coming down hill and if you don't double check before turning onto OHB you ARE SERIOUSLY taking your life into your own hands. - SERIOUSLY - Do something to even just attempt to slow people down.
4) Since new OHB entrance ramp work it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get from Stone Brook to Franklin Rd (1/8th of a mile) on the other side of the interstate during morning commute. - This is actually a lot better. Thanks!

"For #2 & #3, the police need to be notified of any traffic violations." - Public Works
These issues were raised on this platform so that hopefully someone in Public Works, NPD or TDOT would acknowledge the issues or be made aware of them.
#2 causes congestion, frustration and public safety issues.
#3 is an EXTREME public safety issue at any hour of the day.

2) Even though Stone Brook has light and right of way, vehicles turn west onto OHB from Franklin Pike and cut off traffic.
*This is actually getting worse as more traffic keeps increasing in the area. Red arrow is needed for vehicles turning west on OHB from Franklin Pike while Stone Brook traffic has a green to go west.
3) Vehicles running red lights on OHB & Stone Brook/Franklin Pike going east at 50 to 60 mph. They are coming down hill and if you don't double check before turning west onto OHB you ARE SERIOUSLY taking your life into your own hands.
* It's only a matter of time before an exceptionally violent crash happens here. Add rumble strips across road or use the lights where 65 north traffic is merging onto OHB.
