It is NOT a pot hole issue--it is the condition of the roadway. There are deep ruts and raised sections of the road. If you were to drive across it at any speed greateer than 10mph, you'd probably break your axle! It's been this way for more than 2 years and I've reported it many times in the past but nothing is fixed. It;s the section of roadway on the north (bank) side of the street, between US 206 and Mt Lucas Road.

The road is under construction.

Mt Lucas is under constructionm but this small stretch of road between Mt Lucas and Rt 206 is not. It's the short connector, adjacent to the bank on the bank side of the street. The road surface is badly "rippled" and potentially damaging to vehicles and has been this way for at least 2 years. Given how near it is to the Municipal building and frequently used by Municipal employees, I'm surprised that it has been ignored and not repaired.

Perhaps you intend to repair it but it is not currently "under construction".

Thank you for reminding us of this issue. We checked with Public Works and the as mentioned before the road is currently under construction and they are working their way down to the area of your concern. The road, curbing and sidwalks are all being redone so it may take some time for them to get to the area between Mt. Lucas and Route 206. We will keep an eye on the issue and update you accordingly.
