The graffiti at 410 Espanola was painted over sometime today. That is the good news. The bad news is the house still easy to access for squatters, criminals, and curious kids. From the outside it appears to be falling apart and is a hazard to anyone attempting to use it for whatever reason they may have. If the house cannot be demolished than someone should purchase it to either expand the community garden or to house low income residents with children attending La Mesa Elementary School, after a renovation is done of course. In the meantime there needs to be no trespassing signs put in place and a fence or some type of barrier put up that makes access to the property more difficult. Any ideas or solutions would be great. Thanks!

Any volunteer help to ride herd on Nuisance Abatement would be appreciated as well.
