My concern is that this is a huge pole barn type building and am wondering if the size and construction meet the City's building code. My neighbors and I feel it I find it is an "eyesore" in the neighborhood.
Also how many outdoor structures in a back yard does code allow? There are already 2 others in the yard, in addition to stuff just laying around the back yard.

According to City Assessors office, the City issued a building permit on 6-15-15 and was supposed to approve the plans. Consider the Niowave pole barn debacle in the Walnut Historic Neighborhood. Whatever brilliant mind approved that should be flogged. Call the Zoning office 483-4066 and ask them how they were able to erect that pole barn without surrounding neighbors approval.

Can't believe the City would approve a Pole barn after the Niowave mess. Something is fundamentally wrong with the system.

Certainly the city only has to inform the neighbors if the owner is asking for a variance to code/zoning. So I am guessing this is far enough away from the neighbors' fence lines and within what ever size limits exist for garages to fit in the code. This is not quite the same scale as the Niowave building.
