Description
Literally thrown under the red bus! On this blustery wet Sunday, as tram was descending for arrival on RI I noticed an unusual sight. The Red Bus picking up passengers at the Subway! Great, I thought, they've added a new bus to accommodate Southpoint, and another bus will be waiting to pick us up. Wrong. Acc to NextBus the next bus was 17 min away. Leaving a tram full of passengers (incl elderly & low mobility folks) thrown "under the bus" to weather the storm or fend for ourselves to get home. Please explain, & correct the prob. Thank you.

Red Bus Service runs every 15 minutes on Sunday. The schedule is designed to connect with the Tram service.
Every effort is made to ensure that this connection is convenient for Tram and Red Bus Customers. If the Tram arrives late to the Roosevelt Island Tram Station, the Red Bus will attempt to wait for Tram customers. The Red Bus must keep its own schedule in consideration of customers waiting for the bus at other stops.
When reporting a service related issue about the Red Bus, please provide as much information as possible.
The following information is useful to RIOC Transportation Staff when investigating a comment or complaint:
1) Time
2) Date
3) Specific Location/Bus Stop
4) Bus Number
5) Description of Bus Operator
6) Details about any verbal exchange that occurred between the driver and involved parties.

Well, it was about 3:15 on a pouring down, windy, stormy Sunday afternoon, April 22. Because I was still on the tram, it was impossible to identify the bus number or driver.
But - I have to disagree that there is bus service every 15 minutes on Sundays. You've had click fix postings before about this from other riders. It is very rare to see buses on Sundays.
