If our interpretation of the location pictured is correct, this is a shared right-of-way between PWC and Piedmont Natural Gas. Even though both have easements to maintain the equipment in this space, neither own the property. It is actually owned by the McFadyen Lake Association, Inc. PWC is responsible for removing vegetation that could grow into the electrical equipment and treated the area with herbicide about a month ago. Customers may contact the McFadyen Lake Association to request mowing of this area. The Code Enforcement Division has entered a complaint for an inspector to visit this location.

This property has been inspected and confirmed to be in violation. A notice letter has been sent to the property owner regarding the condition of the property. The inspector will continue to work with the property owner until the violation has been corrected.
