Thank you for flagging this. It is a real worker health and safety issue, as well as bad for the neighbors.

Property was visited by Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, Randy Carter. Inspector Carter observed no dust at the time of his investigation. Inspector Carter spoke to the Site Manager about proper rock/concrete saw cutting techniques, and how water should always be used to reduce levels of airborne dust. The Site Manager informed Mr. Carter that a 'blue stone' being used for a walkway/patio was being cut. Inspector Carter also informed the Site Manager that a particulate mask/n95 should always be used when working with such equipment. Inspector Carter issued a verbal violation to the Site Manager. The Site Manager informed Inspector Carter no future cutting will be performed on site without the use of dust reducing techniques.
