Yea, well that is not the real issue. It looks horrible, and on top of that the potholes are so huge it will destroy your car.

Paving it will just lead to potholes in the pavement the area is prone to issues with water along with heavy usage by trash trucks and such and as far as people parking in their own yard I don't see how that's anyones business but their own if you don't like it don't look at it or move.

are you kidding? do you see the massive holes that are there now? I retract my previous statement about the parking in the yards. If people want to park in their yards, so be it. But I cannot agree with you about the easement. If there are drainage problems then they need to be addressed as well. I do not know why you would not support something that would IMPROVE the area.

I grew up on 124 W. 7th St. I lived there since I was born in 1954. I moved away when I got married in 1981. My Mom lived there until she died in 2000. My Dad lived there after my Mom died and has lived there until he got sick and had to live with my brother in Cape May, NJ last year. Those massive pot holes that are being talked about in this forum have been there at least since 1954. If you drive very slowly and carefully, your car will probably be alright. I agree with what poster Shaw resident said about people parking in their back yards. It is nobody's business, but their own. I know the last time I visited home, I had to park in the back of my Mom& Dad's house because there wasn't any room to park on the street. Plus it is a little safer to park in the back.
