If I kept statistical records of numbers of the number of times PWD claimed to have "addressed this issue," and the number of times they actually did so, the rate of success would almost certainly be less than 50 percent.

So they say they addressed this issue, and didn't, now they turned it over to code enforcement , not surprising.

This gun-glorifying sticker and graffiti should have no place in Oakland.

It should have no place anywhere. Look at the gun crime stats for Chicago for this year.

So public works, is it that hard to remove this. This does not belong anywhere in this city. I'm not getting it.

Sounds like it's time that a supervisor be contacted and asked why this issue is not a priority. Is it that hard to be dealt with. Is this the message Oakland wants??? Amigail have you followed up on this by calling a supervisor

Just a reminder, PWD... There are tags as well as stickers.

More than a year, and we're still waiting for somebody to take charge.

I am surprised PWD has not informed you they are understaffed and no longed do this type of work the way they do with litter pick up. Volunteers in my neighborhood do almost all the sticker and tag removal because the City and PWD do not seem to give a ----. We also pick up about 6 tons worth a litter per year. A good house cleaning is order from the Mayor on down.

Are we to understand, PWD, that you don't consider gun violence a serious issue in Oakland?

A year and a half is far too much to tolerate the specter of gun violence in Oakland.

How long can this go on?

This needs to be addressed urgently.
